I had an amazing hair cut from the owner, Christine, who listened to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond! She was great! It’s hard for me to trust someone to cut my hair when I haven’t had them cut it before, but she made me feel very comfortable and confident in her! I felt comfortable enough to let her do what she thought would look best, and it turned out so nice! She showed me how to style it and I was able to buy the exact spray she recommended. I had such a wonderful experience here yesterday. I booked with a Level 4 Master Curly Stylist, Warner, and it truly felt like my curls were in the hands of someone who deeply understands them. From the moment I sat in the chair, I felt listened to and cared for. Warner took the time to really look at my curl pattern, explain what she was seeing, and share thoughtful tips on how to care for my hair at home. My curls feel so refreshed and brought back to life. The cut has such a natural shape, and for the first time in a long time I feel like my hair actually reflects me. It’s clear there is so much knowledge, skill, and intention behind the work done here. I left feeling confident, encouraged, and excited to keep learning how to care for my curls. It was awesome ! I loved the atmosphere in there and my stylist was super sweet and nice ! I am not from asheville and was needing a last minute appointment same day and they were able to accommodate that and that really won me over on this place!! Will definitely be coming back! You CAN go home again! Rebecca and I met in Pre-Kindegarten back in 1976. She started cutting my hair in 2001 and continued doing so for the next 20 years until she had to retire for health reasons. The intervening years were difficult, at best, and my heart wasn’t into finding a new stylist. Hope could I replace my Rebecca?? But miracles do happen and she’s back—doing what she loves most! That love shows, too. Rebecca is an amazingly skilled stylist—an artist with scissors—a master craftsman at the top of her trade! (Okay, I am biased, but these things are no less true.)
